Weekend Look: Summer Breezy

So less than two weeks away from the official start of Summer, and I couldn't be happier. In part because of the fantastic weather that is to come, but mostly because I adore summer fashion.

Of course, you can be sexy while completely covered up in the dead of Winter, but there's nothing like showing a little skin to get in you in the mood for the vacation months. Over the years I've learned that no one does casual sexy like Baby Phat, so I immediately opted for this creamsicle colored top from KLS' youthcentric line. With such a gorg top in tow, the rest of the outfit practically picked itself out. Love it!

The Divine Nine: Delia's Dresses

I remember when I first discovered Delia's. I thought I was so mature while I was pretend shopping in a catalog that was sent directly to me. Now that I'm actually old enough to wear the clothes that Delia's sells. I've realized that they're pretty hit or miss. Sometimes I love everything on the site, and other times, well, I just can't find a single piece I would actually wear.

Variations On A Theme: Dolce and Gabanna Spring '08

As usual, Dolce and Gabanna presented one of my favorite collections for the Spring/Summer 2008 season. They switched up their overtly sexual (and borderline vulgar) styles for more demure, ethereal pieces. This season, every designer's ouevre was filled with boldy, splashy prints and Dolce's was no exception, but one of my favorite looks to walk the runway was a relatively simple one composed of a simple t-shirt and khaki skirt. Because I'm sure that each of these pieces retails for atleast $200 in stores, I decided to recreate the look.

Twelve by Twelve, the more grown up, sophisticated branch of the eternally trendy Forever 21 brand, is slowly becoming one of my favorite retailers.
